This vibrant handmade fused glass curve will add a splash of colour and originality to any surface. When lit up by the sun it throws a lovely colourful shadow. The glass panel has been moulded into a curved shape just like a rainbow. I have embossed a paw print into the glass to make it a lovely reminder of a lost much loved pet. I can also write on a pets name at no extra cost.
This decorative piece is made from individually hand cut pieces of glass, assembled into a rainbow design and fired in my kiln at home. After the initial firing the glass panel has been fired again in the kiln over a ceramic mould to create the lovely shape.
This rainbow ornament is made up of individually cut stripes of transparent glass in all colours of the rainbow. The small glass rainbow measures 15cm long and 6cm wide before shaping. The large rainbow curve measures 9cm high and 17cm (3.5"x6.75") wide, although the actual glass panel before shaping measures 7cm by 25 cm (3"x 10") . It would make a novel gift for a friend, teacher or family member.
